PlaceFirst Starts Work in Toxteth

Green PM are working with Developers PlaceFirst on a landmark project to turn 35 derelict properties into 25 energy-efficient homes, in the Welsh Streets Area of Toxteth, Liverpool. PlaceFirst signed a deal with Liverpool council in January, aiming to begin work as soon as surveys were completed. The move came after a decision by former communities secretary Eric Pickles to reject council bosses’ previous plans to demolish the properties, which include the home of Beatle Ringo Starr.
