Jonathan Greenhalgh has been working with the Department of the Built Environment at Oldham University College by offering his services as a guest lecturer. He will continue to support the College by taking part in a workshop with partners and key contacts from both education and industry to discuss views and ideas in relation to the development of CPD courses, enhancement to the curriculum delivery and integration of theory and practice within the Built Environment discipline.
Says Nicola Harris, Senior Lecturer, ‘It is vital for academic institutions such as University Campus Oldham to ensure that they have access to current industry practice, methodologies and expertise in order to underpin students’ learning. This enables students to become familiar with current issues which will assist them in their transition into employment. As such we endorse any opportunity to engage with our key partners in the Built Environment disciplines. We both welcome and encourage participation of visiting guest speakers such as Jonathan who has delivered effectively in a series of key note lectures at our institution on a wide range of environmental topics.’
