As a longstanding active member of the North West Branch of the CIOB, Jonathan was approached by Hazel Yorke, North West Branch Manager to become the new Chair for the Greater Manchester Centre. Jonathan is pleased to take on this role and is looking forward to the challenge ‘with satisfaction in the knowledge that we are members of an even faster growing construction institute than has been in latter years – an institute whose profile and appeal is earning respect not just here in Greater Manchester, and not just here in the UK but throughout the world.’

The Annual Black Tie Dinner took place on Friday 27 April 2012 at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club's stunning new £12M conference and events centre at Old Trafford.

The evening, in aid of Francis House Children’s Hospice, commenced with a drinks reception for members and their guests, followed by a luxurious 4 course dinner prepared by Heathcotes and ended with comedian and impressionist Aaron James.
