ENWL have a number of strategically located depots around the North West which provide materials for engineers to enable them to respond promptly and effectively to loss of power situations. Penrith caters for a large and mainly remote area and the depot requires a range of vehicles to cope with the severe weather and local geography. This phase of the works included retaining walls and hardstanding to provide accessible plant and equipment for all eventualities. 

Project Details

This 25,000 sq feet refurbishment brings a combination of new load bearing partitions and walls along with the installation of the mechanical, electrical and data needed in all modern businesses. 

As is usual with major refurbishments, the building required considerable improvements to its fabric and new thermal insulation was just one of the methods used to address the M & E deficiencies of old stock.
